Are you a fan of art fairs in Michigan? National Trails is proud to be the official shuttle transportation provider for the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The 2026 Ann Arbor Art Fair (AAAF) is taking place July 16, 17, & 18 in downtown Ann Arbor. With over 400,000 visitors expected over 3 days, parking downtown can be challenging, but getting to the Art Fair doesn’t have to be.

Shuttle Ticket Details
- Cost for Shuttle: $9.00 per person (valid for 1 full day of ridership)
- Children 5 & under ride FREE
- Passes available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily
- The last shuttle departs downtown at 9:00 PM
Passes can be purchased onsite at either shuttle location using cash, card, and Venmo. After purchasing, you’re free to ride to and from the Art Fair all day – no traffic, no hassle, no worries.

How much does it cost for the Ann Arbor Art Fair shuttle?
The cost for the Ann Arbor Art Fair shuttle is $9.00 per person, per day. Children ages 5 and under ride for free.
How can I purchase tickets for the Ann Arbor Art Fair Shuttle?
Tickets for the Ann Arbor Art Fair shuttle are available for purchase on-site at two convenient locations: Briarwood Mall (in the J.C. Penney parking lot) and Huron High School (main parking lot). Ticket sales are offered daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit or debit cards, and Venmo.
When does the last shuttle depart the downtown area?
The last shuttle from the Ann Arbor Art Fair departs the downtown area at 9:00 PM. Guests intending to return via shuttle are encouraged to arrive and be in line by 8:45 PM each evening. Those remaining in the downtown area beyond 9:00 PM will need to arrange alternative transportation to return to their vehicles.
Can I use my Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA) / TheRide bus pass to board the shuttle?
Unfortunately, your TheRide pass cannot be used to board the Ann Arbor Art Fair shuttle. The Ann Arbor Art Fair Transportation Authority (AAATA) operates independently from National Trails and is not designated as the official transportation provider for the event.
Can I ride the shuttle multiple times in one day?
Yes, with the purchase of a shuttle wristband, you are permitted to ride the shuttle multiple times throughout the day. If you wish to return to your vehicle to store purchased items, you may do so at your convenience and easily reboard the shuttle to return downtown to the fair.
How often do the shuttles run?
The shuttle service for the Ann Arbor Art Fair operates on a continuous loop, with buses typically departing approximately every 15 minutes. Our team is committed to serving the attendees of the Ann Arbor Art Fair by providing reliable and timely transportation, thereby minimizing wait times.
Will the shuttle continue to run if the Fair closes early?
If the Ann Arbor Art Fair closes early due to inclement weather or other circumstances, the shuttle service will operate for up to one hour after the official closing time of the event. Patrons are advised to make arrangements to return to their designated shuttle pickup locations promptly once the fair begins to close. Please note that refunds will not be issued for shuttle wristbands in the event of weather-related closures.
How do I return to my vehicle?
Patrons parking at the two designated shuttle locations are required to use the provided shuttle services to return to their vehicles. Please note that shuttle transportation is not available between Briarwood Mall and Huron High School.
Is the Ann Arbor Art Fair Shuttle Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes, the Ann Arbor Art Fair Shuttle is wheelchair accessible. Charter buses equipped with wheelchair lifts are available at both shuttle locations, along with small, wheelchair-accessible specialty vehicles. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing individuals requiring wheelchair accessible transportation with the same high standard of service.
Can I bring my child’s stroller on the shuttle?
Yes, you can bring strollers aboard the shuttle. Our charter buses offer generous undercarriage storage suitable for strollers, walkers, wagons, and other large items that guests may bring to-and-from the Fair. Our staff will assist in securing your belongings during boarding and will retrieve them upon arrival at your destination.
Is there a discount for Seniors, First Responders, or Active Duty Military/Veterans?
Regrettably, there is no discount available on shuttle wristbands for Seniors, First Responders, or Active Duty Military and Veterans. National Trails sincerely appreciates the service and dedication of all First Responders, Active Duty service members, and Veterans.
Do you have a Lost and Found?
Yes, Lost and Found items are securely stored on-site by our staff throughout the duration of the Fair. Items remaining unclaimed by the final night of the event will be transferred to our central Lost and Found and held for two months in accordance with our standard policy. Following this period, unclaimed items may be donated to charity. For health and safety reasons, items such as pillows and blankets are discarded immediately and are not eligible for return.
